Chia Pudding

 Ingredients1 serve
Chia seeds10g, 2 heaped tsps
skimmed milk200ml, ¾ cup
Seasonal fruits40g, ¼  cup
organic Honey (optional)3ml, ½ tsp
Mixed nuts n seeds, coarsely chopped20g, 2 tbsp
Cinnamon powderA pinch

 

METHOD

Soak the chia seeds overnight

Boil the milk flavored with cinnamon till it reduces to half.

Stir in the fresh fruits, chopped nuts, mixed seeds, soaked chia seeds, and organic honey (if needed) to this creamy milk. Do not add high glycemic fruits like banana, mango, and pineapple, instead add fruits with a low glycemic index like apples, pears, oranges, plums, strawberries, cherries….

Serve cold.
